Background
Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) such as GPS and Galileo are important sensors when it comes to navigation and accurate time on our naval platforms. Simulation of GNSS sensors are hence important in our land based training systems and when it comes validating the operational systems.
Description of the master thesis
This bachelor thesis consists of three main tasks:
- A report describing the different aspects of GNSS simulation and methods for implementing and validating them.
- A prototype of simulation model that can simulate different GNSS, including interference.
- Validation of the simulation model by comparing with operational GNSS
